Crowdsourcing a Low Carbon Community
Cities are responsible for 70% of carbon emissions which are mostly the response of individuals and business to the built environment and policies to meet their daily needs. The two greatest sources of emissions are transportation and buildings. This workshop aims to bring together the community: residents, businesses, local government, and other groups to explore drivers of our current high carbon footprint and to imagine what collective action is needed to drastically lower our dependence on carbon while creating communities for 21st century realities.
